Working at Countryside is challenging, constantly changing and fast-paced. It’s also friendly, open and rewarding — that’s why their people love it.

What Countryside does

Countryside is a leading UK home builder and urban regeneration partner, and operates through two complementary divisions, Housebuilding and Partnerships.

Housebuilding develops medium to larger-scale sites, providing private and affordable homes on land owned or controlled by the Group, primarily around London and the South East of England.  It operates under the Countryside and Millgate brands.

Partnerships specialises in medium to larger-scale urban regeneration of public sector land, delivering private and affordable homes in partnership with local authorities and housing associations.  It operates in and around London, and the North West of England.

Both Housebuilding and Partnerships are long-term relationship led. Countryside has over 30 years’ experience of both, making us the partner of choice for many public and private sector landowners.

Qualifications and professionalism

We’re firm believers that learning doesn’t end when you leave school, college or university. We promote professionalism by encouraging our people to achieve awards and accreditation from industry bodies such as RICS and NHBC.

Through our Study Support Programme, you can undertake a range of courses including bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as professional qualifications in areas including accounting, HR, architecture and surveying.

Where are the vacancies?

Mainly at Countryside’s offices in Brentwood, Sevenoaks, Acton, Twyford, Warrington and Wolverhampton, and also at our developments in London, the South East, East and North West of England.

We may be a house builder but we’re a business too. That means we need people with a wide range of skills: accountants, marketeers, lawyers, IT experts and many more. And we’re an equal opportunities employer in every way. When it comes to recruitment, we don’t discriminate. When it comes to helping our people develop, and recognising their achievements, we work hard to make that happen too.

What’s to love about work? Everything.

Does your current role offer you a positive learning culture? We do. Are there a variety of training programmes and real opportunities to develop? At Countryside the answer is yes — and there’s lots more too.
