Job Title: Team Leader

Hours of Employment: TBC

Location: East Malling

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide full professional property management services for a portfolio of freehold / leasehold developments and individual properties on behalf of freehold clients, Developers and Resident Management Companies.

To effectively manage a small team of property managers, and assistant property managers in line with internal KPI's.

  1. Manage reduced portfolio in accordance with RICS Codes of Practice, ARMA rules and landlord and tenant legislation.
  2. To provide guidance, support and line management to property managers and assistant property managers.
  3. To monitor the performance of property managers and assistants in the team and undertake appropriate reviews, mentoring, and appraisals.
  4. To provide support, advice and guidance to other junior members of staff.
  5. To co-ordinate day to day HR functions for the team (sickness, holiday, recruitment, probationary reviews, performance management/appraisals etc) in conjunction with the AD group where applicable.
  6. To identify training needs and requirements for team members and discuss with AD group as applicable.
  7. To manage the team in relation to company targets of income and service delivery.
  8. To deal with, and manage any customer service issues or minor complaints that may arise within the teams portfolio's, reporting as required to the AD group
  9. To monitor and manage 'management at risk' within their teams portfolio, reporting monthly to the AD group
