About the role:

A Degree Apprenticeship with Ford Motor Company is an exciting opportunity to pursue practical work experience using world-class technologies and processes, while learning an exciting range of new skills. Studying at the recognised university will equip you with a range of knowledge and skills. 

  • You will complete your apprenticeship over 4 years. A 12-month rotation plan will keep things interesting as you work in different sections of Ford Purchasing, Manufacturing Planning and Logistics allowing you to understand all that the departments have to offer!
  • Did you know Ford has a range of strategic partnerships? This provides us with tools that can be utilised to unlock new insights and capitalise on new opportunities.
  • Degree apprentices undertaking the apprenticeship will bring fresh skills and knowledge to support us here at Ford, tackling logistics sector challenges.
  • On the job training will take place at the Ford Dunton Campus, Essex and inevitably include trips to our manufacturing & supplier sites across Europe!
  • On completion of the apprenticeship, you will join the Ford family specialising in Procurement or Manufacturing, Planning and Logistics.

Salary:

£24,533* (starting salary with yearly increments throughout the apprenticeship)

To excel in the team, you will need to bring a selection of the following:

  • A keen interest in Supply Chain Management.
  • A can-do, find-a-way attitude to solving problems.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • To be curious about the transforming automotive business.

Qualifications:

  • 3 A-Levels at grade BCC or higher (or equivalent) predicted or achieved Totalling 112 UCAS Points or higher.
  • OR BTEC totalling 112 UCAS points or higher.
  • A minimum of 5 GCSE grades, at Grade B (Level 5/6) including:
    English at grade B (Level 5/6) 
    Maths at grade B (Level 5/6)

  • Educational Requirements

    GCSEs
    A minimum of 3 GCSE grades, including Maths Grade 5 (Grade B), English (Language or Literature) at Grade 4 (Grade C) and Physics or Double Science at Grade 4 (Grade C).

    Alternatively, if you have not studied Physics or Double Science we can accept NVQ or BTEC Level 2 or above in an engineering subject.
