Dagenham Engine Plant is Ford Motor Company's sole diesel engineering and manufacturing location in Europe. It is located next to the river Thames, some 15 miles east of London. The plant has a long history stretching back over 75 years and employees around 2800 people. Over 50% of global Ford diesel engine demand is supplied by Dagenham.
