Accounts Reconciliation Assistant
Croydon
OBJECTIVES :

To offer the highest standard of service to clients/tenants.
Hours of employment are 9.00AM - 5.30PM: 25 days holidays per annum


PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS



* Understanding of all HML Processes, Practices and Ethos
* A good understanding of Residential Property Management and current legislation.
* Well-developed interpersonal and oral communications skills
* Problem dispute resolution skills
* Interpersonal skills and customer focused
* Strong organisational skills
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Good numerical skills
* Diplomacy
* Ability to prioritise critical workload and work well under pressure and within strict time frames

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



* To assist with the reconciliation of all 7,000 plus bank accounts for which client money is held within 28 days of the statement dates in line with best practice. Investigating any discrepancies and applying adjustments where required to ensure there are no receipts older than 1 month and payments over 6 months.
* To liaise with internal departments to resolve all bank reconciliation queries in a timely manner.
* To keep up to date bank reconciliation schedules detailing the last reconciled date and any outstanding items.
* To prepare and submit opening and closing bank account forms as required.
* To engage with the IT team with regards to the proposal and integration of system enhancements and to ensure adequate testing is undertaken.
* To manage all other duties as they arise as a result of the above and as a result of the growth of the HML operation and its subsidiary businesses
