POST: Software Support Analyst

REPORTING TO: OnBase Integration Specialist

HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 9.00am - 5.30pm

HOLIDAY: 25 days holidays per annum prorated

Background

This role involves working for HML Holdings plc - the parent company of HML Group. HML Group is one of the leading residential property management companies in the south of England. HML has grown rapidly in recent years and is listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. The group currently has 19 offices.

HML Holdings has an IT department of 15 people, including 9 dedicated to application development and systems integration.

The role is for a Software Support Analysist, you will be providing first line support for our custom Line of Business tool PMS and document management system OnBase, investigating and resolving software support queries. You'll be a good team-player and work with other members of our IT Development team to provide joined-up solutions across the business. The role will require the development of Release Notes, Application User Documentation and short Training Videos. On occasions the role will also provide additional support for infrastructure projects (possibly up to 2 days per month).

The role is based in the Croydon office with occasional travel to other offices.

Duties and responsibilities



* Ensuring PMS/OnBase Help-Desk Tickets and phone calls are answered and actioned as appropriate
* Being responsible for PMS/OnBase Help-Desk Tickets to be escalated to the appropriate Development team member
* Documenting Software procedures, problem resolutions and processes as required
* Creating and Maintaining the User Software Training Video Suite
* Providing additional support for the Infrastructure Team on various projects

Personal requirements

Education/Qualifications/Experience Required



* English language to GCSE level or equivalent is essential as a large component of the role involves documentation
* Mathematics to GCSE level or equivalent is also essential as around 60% of our primary business application revolves around finance
* 2 years' experience in a similar role.
