Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship with Ford Motor Company

About the role

  • The Advanced Engineering apprenticeship here at Ford will include 12-18 months of off-the- job training, where you will get to broaden your knowledge and skill-set at the Centre for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence (CEME) in Transport Operations, Dagenham. For Daventry applications, off-the- job training location is to be confirmed but will be within the Midlands area.
  • Your on-the-job training will take place at the relevant Ford operation (either Daventry Plant, Dunton Campus or Transport Operations, Dagenham Engine Plant), where you will get to apply your new skills and knowledge gained during your CEME training to real-life engineering operations.
  • You will gain a National Vocational Qualification at Level 2 and Level 3, a BTEC level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, a BTEC level 3 Extended Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, and Functional Skills in Maths, English and Information Technology.

To become part of our team, you will need:

  • GCSEs
    A minimum of 3 GCSE grades, including Maths Grade 5 (Grade B), English (Language or Literature) at Grade 4 (Grade C) and Physics or Double Science at Grade 4 (Grade C).

    Alternatively, if you have not studied Physics or Double Science we can accept NVQ or BTEC Level 2 or above in an engineering subject.
