job description

Randstad Education works with a number of SEND schools in the Blackpool area that are looking for Teaching Assistants ready for September 2020.

The role of a Teaching Assistant in an SEND school is varied and challenging but also very rewarding; you will be expected to work 1:1 or in small groups with students with different ranges of ability. Roles will vary from part time hours to full time longer term positions.

You will work with a dedicated, professional and friendly specialist consultant and a branch with an on-call facility. We commit to your continuing professional development through free training including safeguarding and 'Team Teach'. Competitive rates of pay paid weekly, fully compliant under the Agency Workers Regulations (AWR, 2011) with flexible hours and working patterns.

We appreciate the uncertainty of the current situation, but we are continuing to recruit on behalf of our schools during this period. We are anticipating unprecedented demand on the reopening of our schools, so if you would like to be in the best position for work, then we would be interested to hear from you.

All candidates will be subject to Randstad Education's child protection and UK eligibility checks, including enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and full referencing process.

We are offering an online registration during this time, so please respond to this advert and send your CV to Effie Sharp at to be considered.
