Are you a qualified teaching assistant looking to be part of an exciting, dedicated and focused team? Are you trained to Level 3 looking for your next role in the Blackpool area?

If you have a passion for supporting children and working as a 1:1 support with their learning, we may have the perfect position for you.

An OFSTED rated 'good' primary school is searching for a trained teaching assistant who is confident and experienced to support children within a KS2 classroom. This support will be focused on general teaching assistant work as well as 1:1 support with a child. Your role will be to engage the children in their learning and work with the children to keep focused, as well as being committed to working with the class teacher to ensure safeguarding.

You will have a supportive team around you. You will be proactive and keen to develop the KS2 framework, provide continuous provision and creative ideas to keep children engaged.

The role will include:
- Supporting the KS2 setting
- Providing the KS2 provision to a high standard
- Liaising with parents
- Working with the wider school where needed
- Managing behaviour in line to school policy
- Being enthusiastic and proactive at all times
- Ensure safeguarding of each child

- Recent experience of working within children in KS2
- Recent experience of supporting a primary school
- Confidence to work with key children in a small group
- Ability to develop learning
- Trained to a Level 3 teaching assistant as a minimum
